Cookie policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way, and this policy covers them too.
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. Nothing except essential cookies is used until you choose. You can accept, reject or pick categories, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Essential cookies
These are needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choices. They cannot be switched off in the banner, but you can block them in your browser, which may stop parts of the site working.
- ck-consent: remembers your cookie choices so we do not ask on every page. It is kept in your browser's local storage rather than as a cookie, and stays until you change your choice or clear your browser data
- Spam protection: our enquiry forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is sending them. It does not set cookies on this website or track you across other websites
- payload-token: keeps our staff signed in while they edit the website. It is only set for staff who log in, and expires after 8 hours
Analytics cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people use the website, such as which pages are visited and how people find us. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics does not tell us who you are.
- _ga: distinguishes one visitor from another. Expires after 2 years
- _ga_[ID]: keeps track of your visit (session). Expires after 2 years
We use Google Consent Mode, which passes your choice to Google's tags. Until you accept analytics, no analytics cookies are stored on your device. If you decline, Google may still receive limited signals without cookies, for example that a page was viewed, which cannot be used to identify your device and which Google uses to produce overall estimates.
Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies. Read how Google uses information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Marketing cookies
With your consent, we use Google Ads conversion tracking to see whether our Google adverts lead to enquiries, so we only spend on adverts that work. We do not use remarketing to follow you around other websites with our adverts.
- _gcl_au: links a visit to the Google advert that led to it. Expires after 3 months
- _gcl_aw: set only if you arrive by clicking one of our Google adverts, to record which advert it was. Expires after 3 months
Google Maps
Our contact and showroom pages can show a Google Maps map. Google Maps sets its own cookies and sends information such as your IP address to Google. So we do not load the map until you accept analytics cookies or press Show map. Until then you will see a placeholder with our address and a button to load the map, or you can open directions in Google Maps yourself.
Other third-party content
Some case studies include a video from YouTube or Vimeo. Like the map, a video only loads once you accept analytics cookies or press play, and then YouTube's or Vimeo's own cookie policy applies. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and Vimeo's do-not-track setting to limit what they collect. We do not embed social media posts or review widgets.
Changing your choice or blocking cookies
Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page to change your choice. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Look under Privacy or Cookies in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge, or see your browser's help pages. Blocking all cookies may stop some parts of the site working.
