Choose your bedroom style
We have been making and fitting bedroom furniture since 1985, alongside our kitchens. Off-the-shelf wardrobe carcasses come in fixed sizes, so we developed our own system, Cleveland Bespoke, and we make every wardrobe carcass and internal in our Kirkby workshop. That means a wardrobe can fill an alcove exactly, run floor to ceiling and wall to wall, or fit under a sloping loft ceiling.
Three ways to fit a bedroom
- Fitted wardrobes: hinged doors, built into the room with matching panels, cornice and plinths
- Sliding wardrobes: our own track system, with glass, mirror, painted or wood effect doors
- Walk-in wardrobes: open storage, islands and dressing areas for a spare room or dressing room
We also make bedroom furniture to match: bedside cabinets, chests of drawers, dressing tables, TV units and loft furniture.
Inside is up to you
Shelves, rails, drawers, pull-out trouser and tie racks, rotating shoe storage and lighting can go anywhere you want, at any height. A designer can visit your home, measure the room and send a 3D plan with a cost breakdown, free and with no obligation.

Questions we’re often asked
How much do fitted wardrobes cost?
It depends on the width and height of the run, the door style and finish, and how much goes inside, such as drawers, pull-outs and lighting. Mirrored and real wood doors cost more than vinyl. After a free home visit we send a 3D plan with a cost breakdown, and you can change options to suit your budget.
What happens at the home design visit?
One of our design team comes to your home, talks through how you want to use the room and shows you door samples and example bedrooms. They take a technical measure, noting sloping ceilings, windows, radiators and anything else in the way. We then send a 3D rendering, a cost breakdown and options. There is no charge and no obligation.
How long does a fitted bedroom take?
We make and assemble as much as possible in our workshop, so time on site is short and tidy. Lead time from order to fitting is from 2 weeks, depending on the specification, and most bedrooms are fitted in [CONFIRM: typical bedroom fitting time]. We agree dates before you order.
Can I see bedroom furniture before I buy?
Yes. We have wardrobes and samples of doors, finishes and internal fittings in our Kirkby showroom [CONFIRM: current bedroom displays in the showroom]. If it is easier, a designer can bring door samples and example designs to your home, and measure up while they are there.
