Sliding wardrobes
Sliding wardrobes on our own Cleveland Bespoke track system, with doors in glass, mirror, painted, wood effect and patterned finishes. Built to fill an opening or as a freestanding unit.
Sliding doors need no room to swing open, which makes them a good choice where the bed sits close to the wardrobe or the room is narrow. We developed our own sliding wardrobe system, with a track designed for a smooth, easy glide, and we make every wardrobe to order in our Kirkby workshop.
Doors
The doors are the main feature of a sliding wardrobe, and the choice is very wide. Each finish comes in hundreds of colours and options, and you can combine them, for example mirrored centre panels in a wood effect frame.

Built to your size
A sliding wardrobe can be made to fill an opening, such as an alcove or a wall from side to side, so it looks fully fitted. Or it can be freestanding. Either way we make it to your exact height and width, rather than filling gaps with wide panels as off-the-shelf systems often do.
No limits inside
There is no fixed position for internal partitions, so the inside can be laid out however you like. Shelves, drawers, hanging rails and other storage can go wherever you want them, in as many or as few places as you need. As with all our wardrobes, fittings can be set to any height, and we can make storage for watches, cufflinks and other small items. Internal finishes run from plain white in matt or gloss to woodgrain.
Replacement sliding doors
If your sliding wardrobe carcass is still in good order, you may only need new doors. For one Liverpool client we replaced the doors, rails, plinths and visible trims with a walnut finish, gold rails and a large mirror door, and made two bedside tables to match. The inside stayed as it was, and the bedroom looks new.

Questions we’re often asked
Are sliding wardrobe doors reliable?
A sliding door is only as good as its track and how accurately it is fitted. Our system is our own, designed for a smooth glide, and we make the wardrobe to fit the opening exactly so the doors run true. If a door ever needs adjusting, our fitters can do it. Can I have a mirror on a sliding wardrobe?
Yes. You can have full-height mirrored doors, or mirrored panels set within wood effect or painted doors. Mirrors are popular in smaller bedrooms because they make the room feel bigger and save space for a separate mirror. We will show you samples at your design visit.
What affects the price of a sliding wardrobe?
The width and height of the opening, the number of doors, the door finish (glass and mirror cost more than plain panels), the interior layout, and extras such as lighting or matching bedside tables. We send a cost breakdown with your 3D plan so you can compare options.
Can you replace just the doors on my sliding wardrobe?
Yes, if the carcass and interior are in good order. We make new doors, rails and visible trims to fit, and we can make matching bedside tables. It changes the look of the room for much less than a new wardrobe. We will check your existing wardrobe at a home visit.
